Golf Courses

For those of you who are avid golfers or just enjoy an occasional game, then the Orlando area has many splendid courses. With a sunshine record of 361 days a year then it doesn't get much better. Within only a hour's drive of Lindfields there are at least 150 golf courses.

The closest to us is "The Legends at Orange Lake" which has a total yardage of 7,072 and was designed by the famous Arnold Palmer. This 18-hole course has a first 9 - The Links - with a style reminiscent of old style Scottish courses, and a back 9 - The Pines - surrounded by towering pines and oaks, more in the style of North Carolina.

With the vast number of courses and the fantastic weather, it is no surprise that many of the top PGA golfers are local residents, so keep your eyes peeled, you might even see Tiger Woods. 

The large variety of spectacular and challenging courses have been designed by some of the greatest names in golf such as Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus.

For a fantastic golfing experience you will find the courses around Orlando to be hard to beat. After all this is the theme park capital of the world and the same ideal of giving people a great time spills over to the golfing world.
